1. Information Collection
Visitors may use the public calculator, but account-based storage for recipes and ingredients is not provided until they register and sign in. Inputs may be lost after closing the page, clearing browser data, or changing devices.
When you register or sign in, we process your email address, account identifier, plan status, order history, and the ingredients, recipes, recipe items, quantities, and cost data you create. Free members may save up to 2 recipes and 15 ingredients in the cloud. Pro members may save more or unlimited data and use the additional paid features described on the current plan page.
Subscription payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We may retain the order number, plan, amount, payment status, and transaction time, but we do not store complete card numbers or card security codes in the MyBakeCalc database.
2. Cookies and Third-Party Analytics
We use cookies to enhance your browsing experience. We use Google Analytics to analyze website traffic and user behavior. Additionally, we use Google AdSense to serve personalized ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites.
3. Data Protection
We use measures such as HTTPS, account authentication, and database access controls. Password verification is handled by our authentication provider, and we do not store passwords in plaintext. No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
4. Service Providers and International Processing
We use service providers including Supabase for authentication and cloud data, Amazon Web Services for hosting, and payment, analytics, and advertising providers. These providers may process data in countries or regions where their infrastructure operates, only as needed to provide their services.
5. Retention and Deletion
Member data is generally retained until the account is deleted or the service ends. Order and audit records may be retained longer where required for legal, tax, payment-dispute, or security purposes. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing contact@mybakecalc.com. After identity verification, we will process the request; backup copies may remain until the normal backup rotation completes.
Login and traffic-source records
For account security and service analytics, we record login and authenticated-visit times, IP addresses, estimated countries, and the first entry path, referring domain and UTM campaign parameters. First-visit attribution is stored in your browser and linked to your account after login. We do not store full referrer URLs or arbitrary query parameters. Country lookup may send the IP to ipwho.is; VPNs or proxies can affect accuracy. Detailed activity records are automatically deleted after 90 days. First-source data and available registration IPs remain until account deletion and are available only to authorized administrators. Previously unrecorded IPs cannot be recovered.
Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google and Supabase process authentication and provide authorized basic profile information, such as email, name and avatar. We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail messages or Google Drive. Account information is handled under this policy.
